Maths Murder Mysteries
27 June 2018 (by Hazel PAGE (hazel.page))
Yr 6 continue to practise their maths skills by taking part in investigations and problem solving activities. This week we have been solving Maths Murder Mysteries.
In mixed ability groups we have to solve a series of clues to whittle the suspects down from 32 to 1. We do this by using our maths knowledge and skills to crack the codes. So far we have used algebra, angles, reflections, fractions, logic and place value to find the culprit. Don’t have nightmares, year 6 are here to solve the crime!
